This project consisted of the restoration and extension of this protected structure of National importance. The works involved every fabric of the building in order to improve levels of access, accommodation, secure circulation routes and security. It received the OPUS Building of the Year Award in the Conservation and Restoration Category in 2007. The judges commented that ' if there was an award for joinery, Tullamore Courthouse would have won it'. |
