This extensive restoration and refurbishment project was the single biggest project undertaken by The Courts Service at the time. Works involved the restoration of its stone, joinery, decorative plaster, lime plaster, metalwork and leadworks to its roofs and towers. It was awarded the RIAI Regional Building Award in 2002 and an Irish Europa Nostra Award in 2003 . |
