Works consisted of the construction of a two storey extension to the rear of the existing protected structure which dates back to c1819. The restoration of the existing structure comprised of replacing the existing roof structure and floors. In addition, repairs and repointing were carried out to the existing external stonework. The library was completely refurbished and included the installation of furniture and shelving. Works were carried out in cooperation with the Department of Heritage and Local Government officials.
